A new door is the highest-return exterior upgrade on a South Florida home, and the opening your insurer cares most about. Every door we hang carries Florida Product Approval — HVHZ approval throughout Broward.
Most of the doors we replace are twenty years old, uninsulated, and rated for a wind load the current code no longer accepts. Replacing one changes how the house looks from the street, how hot the garage gets in August, and what happens to the building envelope when a storm comes through.
Bring us a photo of a door you like and we will price the closest match for your house.
Flat, clean and horizontal. Reads well on newer builds and mid-century houses from Fort Lauderdale to Jupiter, especially in a dark bronze or a matte white.
Barn-style detail on a modern sectional door. The most popular upgrade on Mediterranean and Spanish-tile homes across West Palm Beach and Boca Raton.
Aluminum frame with frosted, tinted or clear glass. Light in the garage, real presence on the street, and available impact rated.
If the garage is attached, or you use it for anything other than parking, insulated is the answer. A polyurethane-core steel door cuts the heat load coming off a west-facing garage wall and takes a noticeable amount of road noise out of the house. It is also stiffer, which matters for wind load.
Where you live decides what your door has to be rated for. This is the difference between a door that passes inspection and one that costs you an insurance claim.
Broward County is a High-Velocity Hurricane Zone. Doors here must carry a Miami-Dade NOA or HVHZ-approved Florida Product Approval and be installed exactly to that approval. We install to the approval and hand you the documentation.
Applies everywhere from Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Coral Springs, Plantation, Pembroke Pines to the county line.
Palm Beach County sits in a wind-borne debris region under the Florida Building Code. Every door we install carries a Florida Product Approval rated for the design pressures your specific address requires — and you get the paperwork your insurer will ask for.
Applies through West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Jupiter and the rest of the county.
Tell us the style and the opening and we will come measure. Written number, no obligation, no pressure to sign that day.
